What's happening in Heynabo!?
Dear friend,
I want to take a moment to thank you for your patience and support in 2024. It hasn’t been our fastest year when it comes to launching new features. However, it’s been a year of significant changes behind the scenes.
I use Heynabo! myself where I live, so I know how important it is for the platform to continually develop and improve. That’s why I’m so excited about 2025, which is shaping up to be a year full of meaningful updates.
Here’s a brief status update for Heynabo! as we wrap up the past 12 months:
- We’ve invested a lot of energy into migrating communities from Borigo to Heynabo! Now that the migration is complete, we can focus entirely on one platform. This frees up resources for more important tasks.
- We discontinued our free subscription. We believe it’s only fair that everyone contributes – and fortunately, 92% of you agreed!
- We’ve grown – more communities, more neighbors, more daily events, shared guest rooms, uploaded files… We’re not rich, and we don’t expect to be anytime soon. But we’ve built a strong foundation for the future and can enter 2025 by scaling up our development efforts.
What's happening in 2025?
First of all, we're focusing our energy on eliminating bugs, cleaning up our own mess, and improving an interface that's become a bit cluttered as we added new features along the way.
Apart from that, we've created a roadmap with the main themes for 2025. The roadmap is based on conversations we (Marie, Laus, Mik, and I) have had with many of you over the past year. It’s not set in stone, and you might not see your specific wish on the list. Please reach out to me if you think something is missing.
The main elements are:
- Neighborhoods: We're adding a new way for communities to connect with each other. This will allow communities in the same neighborhood to share information, ressources, or events.
- Integration with Property Management Software: We're finalizing integrations with the main Danish PMS platforms. This will allow communities to update members automatically, and will also open the door to better in-app information.
- Maintenance Center 2.0: More and more communties are using the Maintenance Center to handle support tickets and requests from tenants. So we're giving it an overhaul. Three big requests from our users are recurring maintenance tasks, using AI for first level support, and an integration with Dalux. So those are on our list!
- Portfolio Dashboard: If you're a property admin or a portfolio manager, you'll be able to log in one place, and see all your communities.
- Nabo-Score: We've already been testing this, and 2025 is the year where we launch it. We're introducing an index, that will allow real estate developers to measure the quality of a given community. Also, we'll provide you with actionable insights on how to improve community in order to reduce churn and increase tenant satisfaction.

Heynabo! wouldn’t be possible without your support, feedback, and trust. I love coming to work every day to help create something truly special: communities where people thrive.
With gratitude,
Martin (and also Marie, Laus & Mik)
